- Advised a China-based company which is a leading manufacturer of steel radial tires having investment in Malaysia on their application to list on the Main Board of HKEX with market capitalisation of approximately HKD7 billion.
- Advised a Hong Kong-based financial technology solution provider principally engaged in the development and provision of financial trading solutions for financial institutions, brokerage firms and wealth management companies located mainly in the Asia Pacific region, such as Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia, on their application to list on GEM of HKEX.
- Advised on the listing of a Malaysian telemarketing company on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) with expected market capitalisation of HKD 560 million.
- Advised on the listing of a Malaysian company predominantly involved in the agrochemical and fertilizer manufacturing business on the Main Board of HKEX with market capitalisation exceeding RM1 billion.
- Advised on the successful listing of a company on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad which is principally involved in designing and manufacturing of street poles.
- Advised on the successful listing of a company on the LEAP Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad which is principally involved in providing an online portal with research tools and educational courses on value investing.
- Advised on the successful listing of a company on the LEAP Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities which provides engineering solutions to pharma and biotech industries.
- Conducted due diligence in Malaysia for a company whose holding company is a China-incorporated company seeking listing on the China Stock Exchange.
- Advised on the proposed listing of a company on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, which involved working together with a China law firm, namely King and Wood Mallesons.
Due Diligence Lawyers for Submissions to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and Securities Commission Malaysia
Our team of corporate finance lawyers works closely with our IPO lawyers in respect of submissions to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and the Securities Commission Malaysia. - Advised on the mandatory general offer by the existing shareholders and their Person Acting in Concert in respect of all securities in a property development company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia.
- Advised a company listed on the Main Board of HKEX on its investment of RM 280 million in a Malaysian company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and principally involved in the property development business, including the application for exemption from mandatory general offer to the Securities Commission of Malaysia.
- Advised a company listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia which is principally involved in the provision of mobile or wireless applications in respect of its renounceable rights issue of Irredeemable Convertible Preference Shares (ICPS).
- Advised a company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities which is involved in solar panel manufacturing in respect of its diversification into property development.
- Advised a property development company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities in respect of its private placement exercise to Macquarie Bank Limited.
- Advised on the proposed regularisation plan of PN17 and GN3 companies.
